Bilingual Education

English & German — the right way

In our bilingual Montessori environment, children naturally absorb language through meaningful, everyday experiences. With both English- and German-speaking teachers, language is not taught in isolation but lived—through conversation, work, stories, and social interaction. From spoken language to emerging literacy, children are supported in developing expression, comprehension, reading, and writing in both languages at their own pace. This immersive approach nurtures confident communication, cultural awareness, and a deep, intuitive understanding of language.

When learning the sounds of the alphabet one must pay attention to small details such as the letter 'e' and 'i' sounding different in English and German. While learning how to write you stick to one language first. Once they understand the concept, the second language follows naturally.
